Job Description
Was it a little misleading to use "Club Med" in the title? Maybe. Was it 100% the truth? YES! At Camp Kamaji we refer to our Health Center as Club Med because not only do our nursing and health care staff make sure our community receives what they need to feel physically healthy, we work together to help everyone feel mentally and emotionally happy and healthy as well! Plus, your patients are often wearing swimsuits- just like the real Club Med!

Join us in the Northwoods of Minnesota to gain practical experience in the pediatric nursing and medical field. Under the guidance of an onsite RN and a pediatric practice, who is on-call and utilizing telehealth services, you'll will have the autonomy to assess and treat patients, sort and administer medications as directed and be an integral part of the camp community. This includes taking temperatures, establishing treatment plans and also dressing up in costumes, performing dance routines and working as a "spotter" on the ski boat. Being a part of camp, knowing the campers and staff on personal level and being an active participant in camp events allows you to be better at your job and also happens to be quite fun.

Working as an Assistant Nurse at Camp Kamaji will give you real, hands-on, experience that will help shape and influence your continued work in the nursing and medical field. Come join us!
