Lead Camp Counselor

As the Mission Camp Creek Lead Counselor, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the camp experience for our attendees. This leadership position involves overseeing a team of counselors, coordinating daily activities, and ensuring a safe and enriching environment for all participants. Your dedication to the mission of Mission Camp Creek, coupled with strong leadership skills, will contribute to fostering positive growth and memorable moments for campers. 

• At least 18 years of age 

• Must be able to obtain or become certified in First Aid and CPR 

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with campers, parents, and other staff members 

• Knowledge of safety procedures and ability to respond to emergencies 

• Physical fitness and ability to participate in camp activities alongside campers 

• Ability to solve problems and change plans when necessary. 

• Ability to relate to youth and adults in a positive manner. 

• Ability to work in a camp setting and appreciate the outdoors.
