To assist the Aquatics Director in organizing and administering the activities at the waterfront/pool consistent with Girl Scouts of the USA, American Camp Association and New York State Department of Health standards.
KEY FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Carry out assigned pool activities, including: swim lessons, proper supervision of campers, water testing, etc.
• Participate in special pool events (i.e.: late swims for Thursday overnights).
• Enforce water safety measures at the pool during all times the camp is in operation.
• Help to take care of pool equipment, facilities, and supplies; reports repairs needed to Aquatics Director.
• Keep records and makes reports as required.
• Participate in general camp activities.
