Rec Staff - Timber Challenge/Ropes Course (Summer)

As a Timber Challenge Instructor, you will be responsible for facilitating climbing, zipline, and team-building activities on the ropes course, promoting safety and encouraging personal growth among participants. Your primary duties include instructing and following safety protocols, overseeing the use of equipment, and guiding individuals and groups through various challenges. This position offers a unique opportunity to inspire teamwork, confidence, and adventure in a dynamic outdoor setting.

Positional

• Is able to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
• Capable of reaching and touching items at a height of 84” off the ground.
• Comfortable or demonstrated capability to work at various heights with attached protective gear (55ft or lower) above the ground.
• Individuals in these positions must maintain a weight below a maximum climber’s weight of 265lbs.
• Is able to physically traverse the multi-terrain grounds in all seasons, and work in outdoor environments.

Candidates must be at least 18 years of age at time of hire to be considered for this position.
