Summer Camp Counselor

As a Mission Camp Creek Counselor, you will play a vital role in creating a positive and transformative experience for campers. Embracing the mission and values of Mission Camp Creek, you will actively engage with campers, facilitate activities, and contribute to a supportive community environment. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about youth development, enjoy the outdoors, and are committed to making a meaningful impact on the lives of campers.

• At least 18 years of age 

• Must be able to obtain or become certified in First Aid and CPR 

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with campers, parents, and other staff members 

• Knowledge of safety procedures and ability to respond to emergencies 

• Physical fitness and ability to participate in camp activities alongside campers 

• Ability to solve problems and change plans when necessary. 

• Ability to relate to youth and adults in a positive manner. 

• Ability to work in a camp setting and appreciate the outdoors.
